In this talk we will explain why this is the case.\u00a0We will introduce the topic of\u00a0topological\u00a0data analysis and discuss the state-of-art of quantum algorithms for computational problems in TDA &#8211; this will include the problems of estimating the so-called Betti numbers and the problems of deciding pursuance of topological features in data.
