TalentQ Award to
Master's thesis
TalentQ, a program of Quantum Spain dedicated to the generation of talent in the field of quantum computing in Spain, announces the II Edition of the Best Master's Thesis Award.
The content of the papers should deal with topics of quantum information and technologies, both theoretical and experimental, directly or indirectly related to the field of quantum computation and/or quantum simulation.
Eligible for this award are Master Thesis successfully defended within the framework of Official Master's Degrees in Spain in the following areas 2024
The interested parties should provide the following documentation in English or Spanish to the following address talentq@cesga.es This should be indicated in the subject line: "TalentQ Award". The deadline for submission of the application and complete documentation (or a link for downloading) is June 30, 2025.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
brief (1 page) of the candidate.
ONE DOCUMENT
with a list of the most relevant results and contributions of the Master Thesis (2 pages maximum).
THE MASTER THESIS
in case of very large files, a download address will be accepted.
A letter of defense
of the candidacy written by the person who has directed the MASTER THESIS.
The drafters of the letters should send them directly to the e-mail address indicated, with the name of the candidate in the subject line of the e-mail.
Evaluation
Nominations will be evaluated by a jury selected by TalentQ. Their decision will be final and the results will be made public before July 31, 2025.
The jury may consider the prizes to be void.
Awards
The first prize will be awarded to a single TFM and will consist of a diploma and the payment of travel and registration fees to attend the congress. ICE-10 with the option of a short communication. The diploma will be awarded during the congress. In addition, a prize of 300€.
In addition, there will be two second prizes consisting of a conference registration fee waiver. ICE-10.
